Picked this up randomly a week ago at a Walmart. Planning on handing it over to my nephew next time I see him, but for now, check out that cool lenticular sticker!

Note - gave it to my nephew this past Monday and he seemed to dig it. Actual enthusiasm or feigned joy to please his uncle? We'll never know.

A bootleg of MegaMan/RockMan World 5 for the Gameboy vs the real thing. The dead give-away is the blob on top of the IC on the cart on the right. What is also of note is that the cart shell is also slightly too thick. It fits in a standard Gameboy, but will not slide into an Analogue Pocket. Anyways, when I purchased this on ebay originally, it was sold as an authentic cart, and the seller was nice enough to reimburse me with no requirement to ship back.

For whatever reason, I can't add text to the post via the prod version of this app. A comment will have to do. This bootleg version of Rockman World 5 (on the right, with the glob top on the one chip) is actually a bit thicker than an actual OG GB cart, so while this fits in a real Gameboy, it does not fit in an Analogue Pocket, which has tighter parameters I suppose. Also note the button pad on the PCB - I wonder what that was for...I tried inserting it into a gameboy without a base and closing the connection while the game was powered, but nothing happens. It was likely a PCB that was also used for a multicart that the user could select games from via a button. Who knows!?

Enjoy these shots of Wario Land 3 running via the Analogue Nt Noir’s GBC FPGA Core on a 14” PVM.

Look at that dust on the the nt, lol. Was also meaning to get a post per each day of December, but it’s not like anyone is here watching. I still feel like I failed myself.

Please enjoy these direct from screen pics from the analogue pocket using the SNES FPGA core (which exists because of the mister, of course). While the SNES core does not support the system’s sleep or save state functions (which makes using this system less than ideal for quick pick up and play sessions), it does feature accurate compatibility, which includes special chip games like Mega Man X2, Starfox, and the like.

Have had the pocket since march, but it only got interesting recently with the FPGA cores that have been coming out. Here are some pictures of the actual screen using some real cartridges. Currently, the best thing about this system are the portable cores officially supported by the pocket as they have sleep and save state functionality (which is a must).
