Thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Paul Simon and his incredible accompaniment in Toronto last week. The show was split into three parts; a short introduction of some new material, a collection of familiar hits (the real meat of it), and the encore, which was a solo acoustic The Sound of Silence. It was incredible to be in the presence of a legend and watch him effortlessly perform. Rachael was there next to me and were it not for her, I wouldn’t have been there. Thank you, Rachael for this incredible gift.

Went with Rachael to go see Jarvis Cocker/Pulp last night. Took these with the rx100 vii and they turned out okay. Even though the imaging processing is turned right down, I’m not crazy about how this camera handles faces. It doesn’t matter, because it was nice to be sitting quite a ways back and be able to take decent pics. Great show, played every hit I knew. Rachael had an amazing time.
